Position Overview

The Training Officer is responsible for developing, transferring, and assessing technical skills across operational teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship and sustainable skill growth. This role aligns training programs with organizational goals and operational standards across the region.


Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

  • Manage operational training and development of personnel
  • Assess employee training needs and align with organizational goals
  • Develop, implement, and update training programs relevant to operations
  • Facilitate training methods and skills to instructors and supervisors
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and instructors
  • Facilitate Regional and National Transformation forums
  • Administer specialized training needs related to healthcare operations

Budget & Operational Management

  • Create and manage training budgets
  • Manage direct expenses, overheads, and factors affecting operational performance
  • Manage submission of WSP ATR reports

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure adherence to OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management, and Risk Management Systems
  • Maintain records of training programs, certifications, and performance evaluations

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Formal qualification in HR Management
  • Facilitator/Assessor Certificate
  • Matric (Senior Certificate)
  • Valid South African Driver’s License

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the cleaning/hygiene industry
  • Knowledge of HR procedures and operational workforce management
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
