Position Overview
VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd is seeking a qualified Miller to join its team in Modder Rivier. The role involves managing, handling, and storing grain to ensure high-quality end products, while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with food safety and health regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a dynamic agricultural milling operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily reconsolidation of raw materials into end products
- Perform routine equipment checks and coordinate with the maintenance team
- Supervise personnel and maintain a productive work environment
- Implement quality control measures to ensure product standards
- Ensure daily production goals are achieved
- Maintain good housekeeping and operational cleanliness
- Adhere to health and safety legislation and other regulatory requirements
- Continuously improve processes and add value to the milling operations
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Wheat Miller
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar milling or production role
- Willingness to work shifts
- Extensive knowledge of food safety legislation and health & safety regulations
- Clear criminal record
