Position Overview
The System Analyst in the Information & Technology (I&T) division at VKB Group’s Head Office in Reitz is responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting efficient IT systems that enable core business operations. The role focuses on diagnosing system issues, designing solutions, and enhancing overall system performance to align with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and designing new applications and enhancing existing applications
- Collaborate with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define requirements and resolve issues
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house and 3rd-party systems
- Review and analyze existing systems, developing strategies for improvement and optimization
- Support deployment of new systems and application enhancements
- Conduct research on hardware and software products to guide purchasing decisions
- Create system models, diagrams, and specifications to direct programming and development
- Coordinate in-depth testing and facilitate end-user reviews for new or modified systems
- Provide orientation and training to end users on all systems changes
- Perform ongoing system support, including financial reconciliations and inquiries
- Conduct root cause analysis and reporting for system-related issues
Minimum Requirements
- College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 5 years of related work experience in systems analysis or IT solutions
- Proven experience in designing and implementing software and hardware solutions
- Experience with core software applications, including NAV & BC
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and organizational objectives
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong customer service orientation and teamwork abilities
