Position Overview
The Learning & Development Specialist at TWK Agri will manage the organisation’s learning and development function, including assessing training needs, implementing development programmes, and ensuring compliance with SETA and B-BBEE Skills Development requirements. This role is vital in supporting employee growth, enhancing organisational performance, and ensuring effective HR development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and implement training and development initiatives, including mandatory, legislative, technical, and customised programmes
- Manage study assistance, bursaries, learnerships, apprenticeships, and graduate placements
- Oversee SETA-related projects, ensuring accurate submissions and compliance
- Maintain accurate training and financial records in HR systems such as SAGE300, BEE123, and LMS platforms
- Process training invoices and manage all related documentation
- Prepare data and documentation for B-BBEE Skills Development verification
- Administer and coordinate the full performance management cycle, supporting managers with processes and documentation
- Facilitate and maintain job profiling, ensuring alignment with organisational structures and job evaluation
- Support HR-related projects and initiatives
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal teams, managers, learners, and external stakeholders
- Proactively resolve queries and ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Learning & Development, or related field
- Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) certification or equivalent is advantageous
- 3–5 years’ experience in learning & development, training coordination, and SETA-related processes
- Proven experience managing learnerships, bursaries, or graduate programmes
- Strong understanding of SETA submissions, WSP/ATR requirements, and B-BBEE Skills Development elements
- Experience in performance management processes and HRIS administration
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms (SAGE300, BEE123, LMS)
- High level of accuracy in data capturing, reporting, and invoice processing
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license and willingness to travel
