Position Overview

The Accountant (FN 05) / Rekenmeester (FN 05) role is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated accounting professional who has completed SAIPA or SAICA articles and is confident in preparing financial statements for a diverse client base.

This role offers the opportunity to work within an established accounting practice where precision, independence, and professionalism are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities / Hoof Verantwoordelikhede

  • Preparation of financial statements for various clients
  • Use of Caseware Working Papers for accurate financial reporting
  • Accurate processing and reconciliation of financial data
  • Collaboration with internal team members and external clients
  • Supporting general accounting and auditing functions
  • Handling client queries in a professional and efficient manner
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory standards

Minimum Requirements / Posvereistes

  • Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles / klerkskap
  • BCompt / BRek degree or relevant accounting qualification
  • 2–3 years’ experience in preparing financial statements
  • Proficiency in Caseware Working Papers
  • Knowledge of Xero and Sage (advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills (Afrikaans & English beneficial)
  • High level of accuracy, independence, and professional work ethic
