We’re looking for a data-savvy Junior Analyst in our Jumpstart team.

You will be responsible for translating vast amounts of information into intuitive reports that deliver actionable insights. You will need to be an analytical thinker who is not only flexible but eager to learn and try new approaches to problems.

• Provide support with interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports to the Jumpstart Analyst and Programme Owner.
• Review regional clusters to determine feasibility of clusters against demand requirements of Employer Partners.
• Analysis regional Jump Start pool lists to identify any trends, risks and opportunities and make necessary recommendations to address accordingly. (supply analysis)
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems – skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining and generation. Additionally, transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth
• Prepare reports for the Jumpstart Analyst and Programme Owner.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities, applying research and thorough data collection to ensure continued success of programme.
• Conduct adhoc admin functions as and when necessary.

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in data analytics role
• Bcom – Developmental Economics, Mathemtics, Statistics / Data Science
• Experience creating detailed reports
• CSI/Socio Economic experience is advantageous
