Position Overview

Motus is seeking an Apprentice: Level Year 1 to join the Mercedes-Benz Polokwane team. This apprenticeship provides hands-on exposure to dealership operations and technical activities under close supervision. The role is designed to develop foundational skills in the automotive industry while gaining practical experience in a professional dealership environment.

This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for school leavers with a strong interest in technical, operational, and customer-facing roles within the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily tasks and projects in the dealership department
  • Shadow experienced staff to gain practical knowledge and industry insights
  • Participate in structured training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills
  • Maintain an organised, safe, and efficient work environment
  • Follow all dealership policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Support team members in achieving operational targets

Minimum Requirements

Essential

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Passed Pure Mathematics and Physical Science at matric level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eager to learn, develop, and grow within the automotive industry
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Valid South African driver’s license
