Position Overview

An exciting permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic Projects Department within the high-end residential construction sector. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented QS professional with strong cost management expertise and experience in luxury residential construction.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project finances, ensuring cost efficiency, and supporting the successful delivery of residential building projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and estimates
  • Measure, value, and control construction costs throughout project lifecycles
  • Prepare bills of quantities, tender documentation, and contract administration
  • Monitor project expenditure and report on cost variances
  • Manage subcontractor claims, valuations, and final accounts
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and consultants
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, financial, and construction standards

Minimum Requirements

  • BTech Quantity Surveying or BSc Quantity Surveying qualification
  • 3–5 years’ proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Experience within high-end residential construction (essential)
  • Bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own reliable transport
