Position Overview
Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesperson for its Modimolle branch. This role is ideal for an energetic individual passionate about retail sales, customer service, and achieving measurable sales targets.
The Salesperson will engage with customers, identify their needs, recommend suitable products, and help drive the store’s revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Actively perform sales activities to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Provide a professional and customer-focused sales experience
- Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences
- Assist customers with cash and credit processes in line with company policy
Merchandising & Store Operations
- Maintain store presentation and ensure products are well-merchandised
- Attract and retain customers through engaging displays and promotions
- Support stock management, inventory checks, and product replenishment
Reporting & Team Contribution
- Communicate sales performance to store management
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations
- Contribute ideas to improve sales and customer satisfaction
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 7–12 months retail sales experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused with the ability to build relationships
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
- Basic knowledge of retail operations and business policies
