Position Overview

Motus Toyota Parktown is seeking a reliable and responsible Light Duty Driver to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering parts, supporting operational logistics, and assisting with general duties within the dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver parts to suppliers, other branches, customers, and designated locations
  • Collect parts from suppliers, branches, and customers
  • Ensure all parts are delivered in pristine condition with no damage during transit
  • Conduct vehicle inspections for defects, damage, and roadworthiness
  • Ensure vehicles are locked and secured after use
  • Report all accidents, traffic offences, or vehicle issues to the supervisor
  • Assist customers during parts delivery as required
  • Ensure delivery vehicles have all necessary equipment, including spare wheel and tools
  • Work overtime when required to meet operational needs
  • Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by the department

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Valid driver’s license with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
  • Clear criminal record
  • Customer-focused and team-oriented
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
