Position Overview

The Driver: Light Duty at Motus Toyota Bryanston is responsible for safe and efficient delivery of parts to branches, suppliers, and customers, while assisting with other reasonable duties as required. This role suits a reliable and proactive individual with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver parts to outside suppliers, other branches, and customers as required
  • Collect parts from branches, suppliers, and customers while ensuring safe transport and no damage
  • Check vehicles for roadworthiness, defects, and damages prior to departure
  • Ensure vehicles are locked and keys secured in the designated area
  • Report any accidents, traffic offences, or vehicle issues to the supervisor
  • Assist customers during parts delivery as needed
  • Maintain condition of delivery vehicles and cargo at all times
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the department
  • Work overtime when required to meet operational needs

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Valid driver’s license with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
  • Clear criminal record
  • Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused with a professional approach
