The Kazang Micro Merchant Division focuses on driving financial inclusion and helping small businesses grow revenue through innovative payment solutions.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Kazang Micro Merchant team in Malelane.
This dynamic role blends technical expertise, product knowledge, and a customer-focused sales approach. You will be responsible for driving sales, expanding the merchant network, and ensuring customer satisfaction, playing a key role in growing revenue for merchants and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Understand merchant business needs and recommend suitable products and solutions
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain up-to-date status on leads and opportunities
- Process contracts efficiently to ensure seamless merchant onboarding
- Install devices and ensure proper product functionality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with informal vendors and merchants
- Identify new business areas and opportunities to grow market share
- Ensure visibility and availability of products to drive awareness and sales
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- Proactively recommend best practice solutions to management
Minimum Requirements
- Proven sales experience in a technical, product-driven, or fintech environment
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Technical proficiency to install and troubleshoot devices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and proactive sales approach
- Experience with customer needs analysis and tailoring product recommendations
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred but not required)
