Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure work schedules and job cards are prepared for each position, relevant to the site.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns to the manager regularly.
• Maintain consistently high service standards through regular inspections.
• Ensure staff are appropriately dressed and represent the company image.
• Strictly adhere to cleaning methodology in line with company policies, quality programs, and legislation.
• Manage company assets through monthly spot checks on high-value items, ensuring equipment is in good condition and serviced when required.
• Conduct daily checks and follow-ups.
• Maintain personal health, hygiene, and professional appearance.
• Respond promptly to management requests and take the necessary action.
• Motivate and communicate effectively with staff to maintain high morale.
• Ensure job cards and schedules are in place for site-specific tasks.

Skills and Competencies

• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of health, hospitality, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
• Ability to work independently, including long hours, after hours, and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Matric/Grade 12.
• Tertiary qualifications are highly advantageous.
