Position Overview
Motus Toyota Kempton Park is seeking a motivated Sales Representative: New Vehicles to join its dynamic sales team. Reporting to the Manager: New Vehicle Sales, this role is ideal for an experienced vehicle sales professional with a strong customer focus and a proven ability to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, developing new business, retaining existing clients, and delivering an exceptional customer experience in line with Toyota and Motus standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships and new vehicle sales processes
- Develop and grow a client base through cold calling and referrals
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, budgets, and customer experience (CE) standards
- Understand and apply compliance requirements governing the motor retail industry
- Maintain knowledge of dealership policies, procedures, and systems
- Stay informed on competitor offerings and market trends
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Toyota South Africa structures and procedures
- Drive targeted strategies to retain and grow existing customers
- Manage customer expectations to ensure consistent service delivery
- Support dealership marketing initiatives, promotions, and campaigns
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Sales Executive
- Valid driver’s license
- Clear criminal record
- Computer literacy (essential)
- Proven track record of meeting regular monthly sales targets within budget and CE requirements
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
