Position Overview

Nurture Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Nurture Cape View physical rehabilitation facility in Cape Town. Reporting directly to the Nursing Manager, this permanent role plays a key part in delivering high-quality nursing care within a high-care rehabilitation environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to excellent patient outcomes through professional clinical practice, teamwork, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and ethical nursing care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in line with professional scope of practice
  • Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changing clinical needs
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation and adherence to care plans
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, dignity, and quality care
  • Apply risk management principles and comply with health and safety regulations
  • Support patients and families throughout the rehabilitation journey
  • Participate in shift work, including weekends and public holidays

Minimum Requirements

Essential

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Relevant Registered Nurse qualification
  • Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a high-care environment
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Advantageous

  • Experience in physical rehabilitation nursing

  • Fluency in English (spoken, written, and reading)
