The group is currently recruiting a Finance and Insurance Manager to support the Hyundai East Region dealership network.


Position Overview

The Finance and Insurance Manager (F&I Manager) plays a key role in supporting dealership operations by providing vehicle finance solutions and insurance products to customers.

This role ensures dealerships deliver an efficient financing service while maximizing gross profit through approved finance and insurance products.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry legislation, while delivering excellent customer service and supporting dealership profitability.


Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Finance & Insurance Sales

  • Provide customers with vehicle finance solutions and insurance products
  • Conduct financial needs analysis to determine the best financing options
  • Promote and sell value-added finance and insurance products
  • Maximise second gross profit opportunities

Customer Service & Sales Management

  • Deliver exceptional customer service during the vehicle purchase process
  • Educate customers about finance options and insurance coverage
  • Build long-term customer relationships to improve retention and referrals

Compliance & Regulatory Governance

  • Ensure dealership compliance with financial and automotive legislation
  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate reporting of financial transactions

Financial Administration

  • Manage the finance and insurance debtor’s book
  • Record and report transactional activities accurately
  • Ensure financial documentation and records are properly maintained

Business Growth & Operational Support

  • Provide operational support to dealership teams
  • Contribute to sales growth and dealership profitability
  • Support initiatives that increase finance penetration and product sales

Minimum Experience

Candidates must have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar Finance and Insurance role
  • Experience within the Automotive Retail Industry or Banking sector
  • Strong customer service and sales management experience

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Relevant Diploma qualification
  • Credit Management Diploma (advantageous)

Additional qualifications may include:

  • Regulatory Exam certification
  • NC Accreditation
  • Retail or Short-Term Insurance Qualification (minimum 120 credits)

Regulatory Knowledge Requirements

Candidates should have knowledge of:

  • National Credit Act (NCA)
  • Credit Reporting Act (CRA)
  • Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS)
  • Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA)

Other requirements include:

  • Accreditation by an FSP (Financial Services Provider)
  • Valid Section 13 mandate to perform NCA functions
  • Up-to-date Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
