About the Prepper Role

The Prepper is responsible for ensuring that quality products are prepared and ready for customers according to company SOPs. The role supports kitchen operations by maintaining food safety standards, cleanliness, and efficient food preparation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation

  • Prepare menu items according to approved SOPs
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained
  • Support fast and efficient kitchen operations during busy periods

Hygiene & Food Safety

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times
  • Follow all food safety procedures and operational guidelines
  • Ensure workstations and equipment remain clean and organised

Customer Service Support

  • Support excellent customer experiences through efficient service
  • Assist team members to maintain speed of service
  • Contribute positively to overall store operations

Operational Compliance

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Ensure all preparation processes comply with operational standards
  • Assist with maintaining organised preparation and storage areas

Minimum Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant or fast-food service
  • Customer service experience
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
