Pedros is currently recruiting for a Training Manager to join its Head Office Training Division in Centurion. About the Training Manager Role
The Training Manager will play a critical role in driving operational training excellence across multiple stores. The successful candidate will oversee training programs, lead large-scale operational rollouts, coach teams, and ensure that company operational standards are consistently achieved.
This role requires strong leadership, restaurant operations knowledge, and the ability to develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced QSR environment.
Key Responsibilities
Training Leadership & Operations
- Lead multi-store operational training initiatives
- Manage and mentor a team of trainers
- Ensure consistent operational standards across stores
- Support business growth through training excellence
Training Program Development
- Design and improve training programs and materials
- Drive innovation in learning and development processes
- Conduct practical assessments and evaluations
- Ensure effective onboarding and skills development
Coaching & Mentorship
- Coach and mentor employees and management teams
- Train newly appointed managers and development candidates
- Support employee growth and leadership development
- Sign off completed training programs and assessments
New Store Support
- Assist with training during new store openings
- Support operational rollouts and implementation projects
- Ensure training standards are maintained during expansion phases
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Training facilitation experience
- Good understanding of QSR store operations
- Financial acumen with knowledge of COS / GP
- Experience with POS systems and MICROS
