About the Role
The Warehouse Administrator at Lichtenburg Midas plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operational support, financial record-keeping, and regulatory compliance across the warehouse facility. Operating in a fast-paced automotive supply environment, you will act as the central administrative backbone supporting warehouse staff and management.
Your duties cover a broad operational spectrum—from verifying and sorting freight invoices against statements for month-end payments, to handling payroll leave applications and daily biometric attendance systems. Additionally, you will lead Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) compliance management, oversee site audit readiness, handle uniform distribution, maintain fleet records, and prepare monthly Gemba Dashboard reports.
Please note: Candidates must possess a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate, a clear ITC (credit) and criminal record, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in general office administration. Experience with biometric attendance software, OHS administration, and basic numerical calculations is essential.
Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Administrator
Freight, Invoicing & Supplier Administration

Receive, verify, and sort freight invoices, waybills, and proof of deliveries (PODs) in precise date order upon arrival.

Match and reconcile freight waybills against monthly supplier statements, preparing accurate documentation for end-of-month financial submissions.

Communicate with external service providers to request quotations for goods, maintenance, or administrative services.
Biometric Time, Attendance & Payroll Support

Utilize the company biometric attendance system daily, applying time and attendance rules to correct odd clockings, manage lunch breaks, and log employee schedules.

Compile and verify daily overtime reports for warehouse personnel who worked extra hours.

Process, file, and submit employee leave and sick leave application forms accurately for monthly payroll processing.
Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) & Compliance Management
