About the Role
As a Waitron for the newly launched Pedros Wackys store in Klerksdorp, you will play a central role in building a vibrant dine-in atmosphere and strong store culture from day one. You will deliver warm, attentive service to every guest while maintaining efficient coordination between the front counter, cashiers, and kitchen team.
Your goal is to maximize guest satisfaction, keep dining areas spotless, resolve routine customer concerns professionally, and ensure smooth meal execution during peak operational shifts.
Key Performance Areas & Primary Responsibilities
1. Customer Greeting & Table Service

Professionally greet arriving guests and seat them promptly in the dining area.

Present food and beverage menus, answer queries regarding ingredients, and explain daily promotional specials.

Take detailed, accurate food and drink orders and communicate special preparation instructions to the kitchen team.

Serve freshly prepared meals and beverages to tables promptly and neatly.
2. Dining Area Care & Table Resetting

Check in with guests during their meal to verify satisfaction with food quality and service.

Clear used tableware promptly and reset dining tables to maintain efficient seating turnaround during busy shifts.

Keep the main dining room, service stations, and condiment counters clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.
3. Payments & Cross-Team Coordination

Process customer payments at tables or coordinate with cashiers accurately when required.

Handle minor customer complaints or service delays with emotional intelligence, tact, and professional conflict-handling skills.

Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, counter teams, and shift managers to ensure seamless order flow.
Minimum Requirements – Waitron (Klerksdorp)
Educational Qualifications & Experience

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Preferred).

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant table service, or customer care (Preferred).

Ability and willingness to work flexible shift rosters, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
