Seriti is a key player in the mining industry, committed to delivering operational excellence and safety. We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee logistics operations at Middelburg Mine Services, ensuring effective management and execution of trucking activities and personnel.

Role Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing logistics processes, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to trucking volume and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive compliance with logistical processes and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
• Oversee weighbridge maintenance and contractor management
• Ensure quality control of materials fed into the plant
• Manage risk and ensure safe work execution in accordance with MHSA and other regulations
• Monitor and enforce HSE safety systems and procedures
• Organize SOP training and ensure compliance by processing and contractor personnel
• Execute logistical processes, including volume management, quality control, and security
• Coordinate resources for efficient logistics operations
• Oversee reconciliation and metal accounting processes

Requirements:

• Basic Coal Prep / Advanced Coal Prep / Grade 12 with Math and Science / Certificate in Mining, Engineering, or Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• 5 years’ experience in a production environment
• 2-4 years’ experience in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Trucking, or Plant Process Environment
• Basic computer knowledge
• Valid driver’s license and Certificate of Fitness

Advantageous:

• Coaching & Mentoring, S3 ORMP, Supervisory Development
• Experience with SAP
