Job Description
As a Sales Team Leader at FNB, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team, ensuring compliance with sales processes, and reducing risks. You will support and develop the team to improve performance while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the sales team to achieve growth and profitability within cost management guidelines.
- Grow the active customer account base through leads and customer-initiated work.
- Ensure client retention through sales support and efficient service.
- Maintain expertise on product pricing, application procedures, and timelines to achieve product and service targets.
- Resolve escalated customer complaints and improve service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure team compliance with governance and compliance procedures.
- Track, control, and influence sales activities to increase team efficiency.
- Compile and report accurate sales statistics, dashboards, and reports.
- Provide feedback and training to team members to improve performance.
- Ensure frontline team members are appropriately skilled and capable of meeting service standards.
Ideal Candidate
- Grade 12 qualification and NQF Level 5 qualification.
- RE5 certification.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Sales environment.
- COB in Long Term Insurance & Short Term (Personal Lines) required within 12 months of appointment.
- Experience with various insurance products, including Funeral, Gap, Dynamic Life, and others.
