Overview of the Role
PSG is currently seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Client Services Administrator to join their team in Waterfall, Johannesburg. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity reporting directly to a Team Leader within the platform administration department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying, confirming, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of client instructions that are processed within PSG’s administration platforms. The role also involves providing support to internal teams, handling queries, and ensuring all operational standards and client service level agreements are met.
Key Responsibilities
As a Client Services Administrator, your main duties and responsibilities will include:

Validating a variety of instructions processed within the platform administration system to ensure quality, accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with legislation and internal procedures.

Ensuring that incomplete, incorrect, or non-compliant instructions are escalated back to the responsible junior administrator or client service consultant for rectification.

Confirming processed instructions to both clients and their respective financial advisers in a clear and timely manner.

Adhering to PSG’s operational processes and procedures to minimize processing errors and ensure smooth daily operations.

Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying problems in existing systems, processes, or service delivery and proposing effective solutions.

Handling queries and providing support to junior administrators, client service consultants, and other internal stakeholders.

Assisting with ad hoc projects and tasks as delegated by management.

Applying Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles consistently in all client-related activities and decision-making processes.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

A completed financial or business-related degree at NQF Level 7.
-
At least 1 to 2 years’ experience in the financial services industry, ideally within an administrative role on a Linked Investment Service Provider (LISP) platform.

A strong understanding of platform administration and client service processes in the investment or financial advisory space.

High levels of computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
