Position Overview

The Electrical BIM Modeller will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating detailed BIM models for complex electrical systems. This role requires a senior-level professional with expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software, capable of supporting diverse building types and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will play a key role in enhancing design quality, improving workflow efficiency, and ensuring project standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain electrical BIM models for commercial, retail, industrial, mixed-use, and high-end residential projects
  • Coordinate and integrate electrical systems across multiple disciplines using Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM platforms
  • Review, validate, and update BIM models to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to streamline project workflows
  • Support project delivery by generating technical documentation, drawings, and specifications
  • Mentor junior BIM staff and assist in developing BIM standards and best practices

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in the electrical engineering sector
  • Senior/expert BIM modeller level with comprehensive electrical modeling expertise
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software
  • Experience across commercial, retail, high-end residential, mixed-use, and industrial projects
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transport
