Key Responsibilities
✔ Food Preparation – Cook and present meals according to quality standards
✔ Batch Cooking – Prepare meals in bulk, especially in a hospital catering environment
✔ Kitchen Operations – Assist with daily kitchen tasks to ensure smooth workflow
✔ Team Support – Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to maintain high food standards
Minimum Requirements
✔ Matric Certificate (or equivalent) – Essential
✔ 2+ years of experience as a Cook in contract catering – Essential
✔ Food & Beverage or Culinary Arts qualification – Advantageous
✔ Experience in a hospital catering environment – Advantageous
✔ Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
