Position Overview: Griller – Thavhani Mall
Pedros is currently hiring a Griller for its busy store located at Thavhani Mall in Thohoyandou. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and thrive in fast-paced kitchen environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and grilling menu items while maintaining strict quality, safety, and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and grill chicken and other menu items according to approved recipes
- Monitor cooking temperatures, timing, and portion control
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet brand standards
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report faults
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO) and minimise waste
- Clean grills, utensils, and workstations regularly
- Assist with stock counts and ingredient preparation
- Support kitchen operations during peak periods
- Comply with health, safety, and company policies
Minimum Requirements
- Previous kitchen or grilling experience preferred (1+ year)
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
