About the Senior Store Manager Role
The Senior Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including sales performance, stock control, staff leadership, customer service, and compliance with company standards.
This role requires a strong leader who can drive profitability while ensuring consistent product quality and excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant/take-away operations
- Ensure compliance with Pedros SOPs and quality standards
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Maintain smooth operational flow during peak trading periods
Sales, Profitability & Performance
- Drive store sales and profitability targets
- Monitor GP% and operational performance
- Implement strategies to maximise revenue
- Motivate staff to achieve performance goals
Stock Control & Purchasing
- Oversee stock management and inventory control
- Manage ordering and purchasing processes
- Reduce waste and ensure stock accuracy
- Maintain proper stock rotation and control systems
Customer Service & Complaints Handling
- Maintain high customer service standards
- Handle customer complaints professionally and timeously
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Improve overall customer experience in-store
People Management & Leadership
- Manage, train, and develop store staff
- Conduct staff performance evaluations
- Implement disciplinary procedures when necessary
- Schedule rosters and manage workforce planning
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Enforce food safety standards and SOP adherence
- Maintain operational discipline within the store environment
- Support audit readiness and compliance requirements
Marketing & Promotions
- Implement promotional campaigns and store-level marketing
- Support brand initiatives and incentive programs
- Drive customer engagement activities in-store
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in restaurant or fast-food management
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Customer service experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with MICROS systems (advantageous)
