Pedros is currently recruiting a Senior Store Manager for its Durban CBD branch. This role is designed for an experienced retail or restaurant leader who can manage high-volume operations, drive sales performance, and ensure excellent customer service standards in a fast-paced QSR environment.

About the Senior Store Manager Role
The Senior Store Manager will be responsible for the full operational management of the restaurant, ensuring smooth daily operations, strong financial performance, and consistent service excellence.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage staff, control stock, improve profitability, and maintain strict compliance with company standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations Management
- Oversee full restaurant/take-away operations
- Ensure compliance with Pedros SOPs and quality standards
- Manage daily opening and closing procedures
- Maintain smooth operational flow during peak hours
Sales & Profitability
- Drive store sales and profitability targets
- Achieve GP% and revenue objectives
- Motivate staff to meet performance targets
- Implement strategies to improve store efficiency and output
Stock Control & Ordering
- Manage stock levels, purchasing, and ordering processes
- Ensure accurate stock control and minimised wastage
- Oversee inventory management systems
- Maintain supplier coordination where required
Customer Service & Complaints Management
- Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels
- Ensure service recovery processes are followed
- Strengthen customer relationships and brand loyalty
People Management
- Manage, train, and supervise store staff
- Conduct staff performance evaluations
- Implement disciplinary procedures when required
- Manage work schedules and rostering
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Enforce company SOPs and operational policies
- Support audit and compliance readiness
Marketing & Store Growth
- Implement store-level marketing and promotional activities
- Support brand campaigns and sales initiatives
- Drive local customer engagement strategies
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in restaurant or fast-food management
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience in a high-volume QSR or retail environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Organisational and planning skills
- MICROS system experience (advantageous)
