Pedros is seeking an experienced and strategic Development Procurement Manager to lead its full procurement function within the Development division. This senior role is ideal for a procurement professional with strong leadership, supplier negotiation, and cost control experience within construction, retail, or QSR environments.

Role Purpose

The Development Procurement Manager will lead and oversee all procurement activities related to:

  • New store developments
  • Store refurbishments and revamps
  • Construction and equipment sourcing
  • Supplier governance and contract management

This role ensures cost efficiency, supplier compliance, and operational readiness across all development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement Leadership

  • Own and execute the procurement strategy for the Development department
  • Manage procurement of equipment, services, and construction works
  • Develop and improve procurement policies and governance frameworks
  • Oversee supplier onboarding and approval processes

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Lead high-level negotiations with key suppliers
  • Secure favourable pricing, warranties, and SLA agreements
  • Maintain and manage approved supplier registers
  • Ensure supplier compliance and performance standards

Cost Control & Financial Oversight

  • Approve pricing, quotations, and supplier cost structures
  • Monitor market pricing trends and control procurement costs
  • Review invoices against approved quotes before payment
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and financial efficiency

Project & Development Support

  • Oversee RFQ and tender processes
  • Support costing and budgeting for new store openings
  • Approve procurement documentation for development sign-off
  • Coordinate supplier rollout plans for national expansion

Team Leadership

  • Manage and develop procurement team members
  • Set KPIs and performance targets for the team
  • Provide coaching, leadership, and performance evaluations
  • Build a high-performance procurement culture

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide procurement reports to senior leadership
  • Track supplier performance, savings, and spend analysis
  • Identify procurement risks and escalate issues proactively
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Development teams

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
  • 6–8 years procurement experience (minimum 3 years in senior/management role)
  • Strong experience in retail, QSR, hospitality, or construction procurement
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong financial and budget management capability
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
