AVBOB Member Value is inviting unemployed South African graduates, aged between 18 and 35, to apply for the 2024/25 Member Value Internship Programme. This 12-month programme provides recent graduates with an opportunity to gain practical experience in a well-established and respected organization within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be stationed at the Mamelodi Client Services Office, where they will be exposed to various aspects of client services, business development, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
As an intern in the Member Value Division, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service by ensuring a positive and professional experience for all clients visiting the branch.
- Managing client inquiries and documenting interactions, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Escalating customer complaints or complex queries to supervisors and the Member Value Manager in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assisting clients with onboarding and enrollment into the AVBOB Member Rewards Programme.
- Maintaining a strong client relationship by following up on inquiries and keeping customers informed about ongoing processes.
- Keeping accurate records of customer interactions and documenting service processes for future reference.
- Conducting post-service surveys to identify potential customer service concerns and recommending improvements.
- Monitoring emerging trends in customer service and assisting the team in leveraging these trends for business improvement.
- Collaborating with the business development team to implement strategies that enhance member value and client retention.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
To qualify for this internship, applicants must hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
- Finance
- Accounting or Economics
- BSc Information Systems
- Marketing Management
- Business Administration
Skills and Experience:
- Data Analytics skills are advantageous.
- Prior sales experience is beneficial but not required.
- Customer service experience is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenges effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
