About the Role
AFGRI, a leading agricultural services company, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Wholegoods Administrator to join its dynamic team in KwaZulu-Natal. This permanent position plays a critical role in managing the procurement, documentation, and administration of wholegoods—primarily agricultural equipment and machinery.
As a Wholegoods Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, ensuring seamless coordination with suppliers, tracking orders, processing documentation, and providing administrative support to the sales and procurement teams. This role requires experience in goods administration within the agricultural equipment sector and a high level of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Your core duties as a Wholegoods Administrator will include:
🔹 Stock and Order Management

Ensure accurate and timely circulation of stock documentation to relevant sales personnel.

Place and follow up on stock orders with suppliers to meet business and customer demands.

Maintain appropriate stock levels of agricultural equipment to support operational needs.

Identify and suggest movement strategies for older stock, including inter-branch transfers.
🔹 Documentation and Reporting

Ensure wholegoods documentation is processed accurately and complies with internal standards.

Assist with generating and submitting the commission report for processing.

Compile detailed reports, including outstanding order reports and sales performance metrics.

Process documentation for the procurement of new equipment according to specification.
🔹 Supplier and Payment Coordination

Liaise with suppliers regarding order updates and outstanding deliveries.

Control and process invoices from external agencies and arrange necessary payments.

Follow up on outstanding payments when required and ensure proper financial tracking.
🔹 Customer and Internal Support

Provide telephone support to assist with pricing, product queries, and administrative requests.

Identify and report stock availability issues to management for resolution.

Support internal teams by ensuring timely access to stock-related information and resources.
Minimum Requirements
🏫 Education and Training
-
Grade 12 (Matric Certificate) is essential.

A Diploma or Certificate in Office Management or a related field is required.
💼 Experience

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in goods administration within the agricultural equipment industry.

Prior experience with product ordering, documentation control, and supplier follow-up is essential.
