About the Role
As the Store Manager for Yogiberry Gateway, you will take total operational ownership of the store. Your mission is to deliver exceptional customer experiences, optimize gross profit percentages (GP%), control store expenditure, and foster a high-performance team culture.
From opening and closing routines to financial management and stock control, you will ensure full adherence to brand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and service excellence standards.
Key Performance Areas & Primary Responsibilities
1. Operations & Service Quality

Oversee overall daily operations of the restaurant/take-away store, ensuring flawless execution from opening to closing.

Enforce strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, brand presentation, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Execute daily opening and closing store verification routines.
2. Financial Management, Profitability & Sales

Drive store turnover and meet monthly sales targets and Gross Profit (GP%) benchmarks.

Oversee stock control, inventory counts, wastage management, purchasing, and stock ordering.

Implement local store marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and customer incentive programs to boost foot traffic.
3. People Management & Leadership

Manage, lead, and motivate store staff, creating efficient shift rosters and handling workplace discipline when necessary.

Conduct recruitment, selection, onboarding, and structured ongoing performance evaluations for team members.

Implement staff development and training programs while holding regular, structured team meetings.
4. Customer Relations & Compliance

Maintain superior customer service standards and resolve customer complaints promptly within required timeframes.

Ensure full compliance with occupational health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all food preparation and customer-facing areas.
Minimum Requirements – Store Manager
Experience & Technical Competencies

Minimum of 3 years’ related experience in restaurant, QSR, or fast-food retail management (Essential).

Demonstrated experience with GAAP Point of Sale (POS) management software (Highly Advantageous).

Practical experience in stock control, food cost calculations, gross profit management, and shift roster planning.
