Purpose of Position
Lead the store team to achieve business KPIs, including driving sales, managing costs, mitigating risks, reducing stock loss, performing administrative duties, and maintaining world-class store standards.
Responsibilities
- Sales Growth:
- Drive sales by delivering exceptional customer service.
- Uphold world-class store standards and maintain the store image.
- Manage stock effectively and ensure promotional implementations are timely and accurate.
- Stock Loss Prevention:
- Foster a positive store culture to minimize stock loss.
- Adhere to security measures and ensure proper stock and cash handling procedures.
- Cost Control:
- Maintain the company’s low-cost culture by identifying and driving efficiencies within the store.
- Administrative Management:
- Complete store administrative tasks in compliance with company guidelines.
- Team Leadership:
- Train, coach, and manage the performance of a dynamic team of employees (Dynamos).
- Standards and Compliance:
- Ensure general health, safety, and housekeeping standards are consistently maintained.
Requirements
- Education:
- Grade 12.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (degree/diploma in business or retail-related fields) is advantageous.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in English.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite is advantageous).
- Attributes:

- Integrity and willingness to exceed expectations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Effective planning, organization, and managerial abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
