Position Overview

Hyundai Silverlakes, part of Motus Corporation, is seeking a Sales Executive – Used Vehicles to join its Pretoria dealership. This entry-level automotive sales role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about customer service, vehicle sales, and building a career in the motor retail sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling pre-owned vehicles, generating leads, and providing an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

Key Responsibilities

Used Vehicle Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Promote and sell used and pre-owned vehicles to prospective customers
  • Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle solutions
  • Negotiate pricing and close vehicle sales effectively

Lead Generation & Relationship Management

  • Generate new sales leads through walk-ins, calls, follow-ups, and referrals
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports

Sales Targets & Team Collaboration

  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and dealership sales targets
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and finance teams
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and vehicle specifications

Customer Service Excellence

  • Deliver a professional, transparent, and ethical sales experience
  • Handle customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and brand representation

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Strong interest in automotive sales and customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record

Advantageous Experience

  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience (retail or automotive)
  • Knowledge of vehicle sales processes and finance options
  • Passion for cars and the motor retail industry
