Position Overview
Hyundai Silverlakes, part of Motus Corporation, is seeking a Sales Executive – Used Vehicles to join its Pretoria dealership. This entry-level automotive sales role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about customer service, vehicle sales, and building a career in the motor retail sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling pre-owned vehicles, generating leads, and providing an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.
Key Responsibilities
Used Vehicle Sales & Customer Engagement
- Promote and sell used and pre-owned vehicles to prospective customers
- Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle solutions
- Negotiate pricing and close vehicle sales effectively
Lead Generation & Relationship Management
- Generate new sales leads through walk-ins, calls, follow-ups, and referrals
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports
Sales Targets & Team Collaboration
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and dealership sales targets
- Work collaboratively with the sales and finance teams
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and vehicle specifications
Customer Service Excellence
- Deliver a professional, transparent, and ethical sales experience
- Handle customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and brand representation
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Strong interest in automotive sales and customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Advantageous Experience
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience (retail or automotive)
- Knowledge of vehicle sales processes and finance options
- Passion for cars and the motor retail industry
