Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storeman Assistant to join our team at BUCO Komatipoort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling stock, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that all tasks related to stock management are carried out efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management:
- Oversee the management and organization of stock within the store.
- Ensure accurate stock rotation and prevent losses through effective loss control management.
- Dispatch Control:
- Control the dispatch of stock, ensuring that all items are accurately accounted for and delivered promptly.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting with inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stock Pricing & Labelling:
- Ensure that all stock is accurately priced and labelled in accordance with store policies.
- Stock Taking:
- Participate in regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Housekeeping:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all stock areas are kept tidy.
- Company Values & Culture:
- Uphold and promote the company’s values and culture in all aspects of the job.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant retail store environment.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Relevant product knowledge required.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Good interpersonal and people skills.
- Basic computer skills.
