About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to transform complex data into meaningful insights through visual representations, including charts, graphs, infographics, and pictorial diagrams. The successful candidate will work in an agile environment, collaborating with data business partners, data scientists, and engineers to develop and deploy analytical solutions that support business decision-making.

Reporting to the Chief Data Officer (CDO), you will play a critical role in enhancing data analytics capabilities, ensuring data-driven strategies, and contributing to projects that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Visualization

• Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g., Data Business Partner, Business Analyst, and Project Manager) to understand business requirements for data visualization and analytics.
• Design and develop interactive and flexible dashboards that adapt to business needs across different distribution channels.
• Work closely with Engineers and ICT teams to build models and reports that align with business objectives.
• Utilize advanced AI and Machine Learning models to enhance data visualizations under the guidance of the CDO.
• Ensure proper Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and implement efficient coding practices for analytics and visualization tools.
• Stay updated with the latest visualization tools and technologies to deliver meaningful and easy-to-interpret analytics for business users.
• Investigate and resolve any issues related to the analytics environment.
• Prepare reports and presentations that summarize key insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.

Operations & Project Management

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers in a project-based environment to address specific data visualization requirements.
• Ensure all deliverables are reviewed and approved by the Senior Data Analyst or CDO before submission to business stakeholders.
• Escalate delays or challenges to the CDO and project manager, ensuring timely feedback to business teams.

Risk, Governance & Compliance

• Stay informed about legislative, governance, and compliance requirements in data analytics.
• Adhere to internal control procedures and authority levels to mitigate business risks.
• Support the implementation of risk management strategies under the guidance of the CDO.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with the Data Business Partner (DBP) to ensure reports are effectively communicated to business stakeholders.
• Define and measure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key success metrics for data visualization activities.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to leverage data analytics capabilities and drive strategic decision-making.
• Provide feedback on the performance of data-driven solutions and their impact on business processes.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Mathematics and Informatics, or Data Analysis.
• 3+ years of experience in data visualization, analytics, or related fields.
• Experience in front-end and back-end development is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of DBMS systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or similar.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica) is beneficial.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
• Solid understanding of analytical tools and technologies.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and operational management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent task planning and prioritization skills.
