The Senior Clerk: Retention position plays a vital role in ensuring policyholders receive accurate, efficient, and professional service. Reporting directly to the Head of Retentions, you will be responsible for processing payments, handling queries, and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Clerk: Retention, you will manage a variety of daily tasks that are crucial to maintaining seamless operations. Your main duties will include:

  • Handling daily telephonic and written queries from policyholders and institutions.

  • Investigating and processing refund requests from clients and third parties.

  • Managing and processing daily correspondence and discrepancy reports to ensure accuracy.

  • Performing reconciliation of premiums received from banks and institutions.

  • Assisting in training and onboarding new personnel while reporting training needs to the supervisor.

  • Supporting the supervisor in resolving unallocated amounts on a daily and monthly basis.

  • Contacting financial institutions regarding surplus or shortage amounts to maintain compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience
