About the Role
The Sanlam Financial Adviser position focuses on providing clients—both new and existing—with professional, tailored financial advice and product solutions aligned with their personal goals and needs. Your main purpose is to develop and grow the Sanlam Adviser Business by engaging clients, identifying financial opportunities, and offering comprehensive financial planning solutions that ensure long-term loyalty and retention.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth and Market Development

Execute marketing plans and achieve sales targets in line with Sanlam’s distribution strategy.

Drive revenue generation through both single and recurring premium sales.

Promote the Sanlam brand while maintaining compliance with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.

2. Prospecting and Lead Generation

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.

Must meet FAIS “Fit and Proper” requirements.

Completed Regulatory Examination (RE5) if registered with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for over 24 months.

Proven experience in financial advising or related client service roles is an advantage.
